How to Get Around
Getting around Albania is an adventure in itself. The road network has improved significantly but can be unpredictable in rural areas.
Bus/Minibus
Buses and furgons (minibuses) are the primary mode of intercity transport, connecting all major cities and towns. They are cheap but schedules can be informal.
Train
Limited train service exists between a few cities (Tirana-Durres-Vlore) but trains are slow and less reliable than buses.
