Buses are the best option for intercity travel, with frequent services along the coast connecting Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar, and Rijeka.

Train services connect inland cities (Zagreb-Split-Rijeka) but are limited along the coast.

The Adriatic Highway (D8) runs the length of the coast. Toll motorways connect Zagreb to Split and Rijeka. Ferries are essential for island hopping. Sinjska Alka

📍 Sinj

A UNESCO-listed knights' tournament dating back to 1715, commemorating Sinj's victory over Ottoman forces. Horsemen in elaborate 18th-century costumes gallop full-tilt, aiming lances at a small iron ring (alka) hanging from a rope. This thunderous display of equestrian skill draws thousands of spectators to the Dalmatian hinterland.

Zagreb Advent

Voted Europe's Best Christmas Market for three consecutive years (2016–2018). Zagreb transforms into a winter wonderland with multiple themed stalls across ban Jelacic Square, Zrinjevac Park, and the Upper Town.
