About Devetashka Cave
Devetashka Cave is one of the largest, most impressive, and most unique karst caves in all of Europe, located in central northern Bulgaria near the village of Devetaki. The cave's enormous natural entrance — an astonishing 35 meters wide and 30 meters high — creates a dramatic natural cathedral-like space that immediately leaves every first-time visitor awestruck and speechless. The cave extends nearly 2 kilometers deep into the limestone karst, with several large interconnected chambers, flowing underground streams, and impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations that have been slowly growing for tens of thousands of years.
