How to Get Around
North Macedonia has a straightforward transport network focused on buses between major cities.
Bus/Minibus
Buses connect all major towns including Skopje, Ohrid, Bitola, and Tetovo. They are comfortable, frequent, and very affordable.
🚆 Train
Limited train service connects Skopje-Bitola and Skopje-Kumanovo but is slower than buses.
Rental Car
Renting a car is great for exploring Mavrovo National Park, Matka Canyon, and the Tikves wine region. Roads between cities are in good condition.
